TIMco Solo woodscrews are versatile fasteners designed for use in timber, man-made boards, and masonry with a plastic plug. They feature a special thread configuration that provides high pull-out resistance and secure fixing. A 25° sharp point promotes easy penetration into wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, and thin sheet metal. The screws are available in Zinc & Yellow or Zinc & Clear finishes and include a cross recess double countersink in both plating types. They are sized 3.0 x 17mm and are fully threaded up to 70mm, with yellow passivation suitable for wood and chipboard. A 40° deep single thread enhances holding power, while wax lubrication improves insertion time, driving torque, and corrosion resistance. The combination of a single thread design and a fast-start point supports quick, reliable installations across a range of substrates.
