TIMco Solo wood screws are designed for versatile fastening in timber, man-made boards, and masonry when used with a plastic plug. They feature a single-thread design with a 25° sharp point, optimized to start quickly and grip securely. The screws are wax-lubricated to improve insertion time, driving torque, and corrosion resistance, and they offer high pull-out resistance thanks to a 40° deep single thread. Available in zinc-coated finishes, the screws come with either zinc & yellow or zinc & clear plating, and include a double countersink option to reduce head shear and aid countersinking. Fully threaded up to 70mm, with 80mm and longer screws carrying a 70mm thread length. This combination makes them suitable for a variety of timber, board, and masonry applications when used with the appropriate plug.
