TIMco Solo woodscrews are designed for versatile use in timber, man-made boards, and masonry when used with a plastic plug. They feature a specialized thread configuration and a 25° sharp point to aid penetration into wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, and thin sheet metal. The screws are available in Zinc & Yellow or Zinc & Clear finishes, with a cross recess double countersunk head for compatibility with different plating types. They are lubricated to improve insertion speed and corrosion resistance, and offer high pull-out resistance due to the 40° deep single thread design. For various lengths, those up to 75 mm are fully threaded, while longer sizes (80 mm and above) have a 70 mm thread length. A wax lubricant enhances driving torque and reduces installation effort. These woodscrews are mainly used in timber and man-made boards, or into masonry when used with a plastic plug.
