Description
Packs of 1000 Solo Woodscrews are available in Yellow Passivated or Gold Passivated finishes. These single-thread wood screws are designed for use in a variety of timber and man-made boards, or into masonry with a plastic plug. The Timco product is manufactured to BS1210 and features a Classic Head with a double countersunk design to reduce head shear and ease countersinking. The Classic Thread provides high pull-out resistance, with a profile that is fully threaded up to 70 mm and partially threaded beyond that. A 25° sharp point aids easy penetration into wood, MDF, chipboard, plastics, and thin sheet metal. The screws are made from C10-18 steel, zinc plated to 3 microns with the chosen passivation, and lubricated to improve insertion time, driving torque, and corrosion resistance.
