These TIMCO Hex Flange Head Exterior Silver Timber Screws are designed as an alternative to traditional coach screws for timber-to-timber applications. They feature a hex flange head and a fixed washer, and are coated with a patented multi-layer corrosion-resistant plating that enables exterior use and resistance to corrosion. The screws measure 6.0 x 60 mm and are designed to resist the elements, having passed a 1,000 hours salt spray test. Notable design features include a helix shank for debris removal and improved clamping, a 50° deep single thread for high pull-out resistance, a 25° sharp point with a single lead for fast start and better thread acceptance, and a single slash point to reduce torque and minimize timber splitting at low edge distance.
