TIMCO Wafer Head Exterior Green Timber Screws are designed as an alternative to traditional coach screws for timber-to-timber applications. They feature a wafer head for improved clamping and a low-profile finish, making them suitable for outdoor projects such as decking, stairs, fencing, roofing, and landscaping. The screws use a 50° deep single thread for secure fixing with high pull-out resistance and a 25° sharp point to ease penetration into various wood types. They are coated with a patented multi-layer organic green plating that provides corrosion resistance for demanding exterior use, delivering up to 1,000 hours of salt spray resistance in accordance with BS EN 9227:2012. A helix shank helps remove debris and enhance clamping during installation, contributing to long-lasting performance in timber-to-timber assemblies.
