A REFINED WHISKY :Togouchi Singe Malt is a unique and authentic Japanese style whisky, designed to be delicate, balanced and fruity. A true expression of the Japanese refined culture. 100% MADE FROM MALTED BARLEY: Aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, the first Single Malt of the Sakurao Distillery is neither chillfiltered nor colored to express its full complexity. It reveals a fruity and woody profile, with notes of vanilla, apple and coconut. A 100% JAPANESE WHISKY : Togouchi whiskies are fully distilled, aged, blended and bottled at the Sakurao distillery, near the Seto inland sea. A UNIQUE & ORIGINAL AGING LOCATION: Togouchi whiskies are aged in an old railway tunnel 70km away from the distillery, where the ageing conditions are perfectly monitored. The high humidity rate and cool temperature limit the impact of the wood on the whisky, leading to a light and elegant whisky with a clear color, true caracteristic of the Togouchi whiskies. AN ICONIC BOTTLE: Togouchi whiskies are bottled to pay tribute to the Japanese craftsmanship. It is inspired by the distillery to age its Shochu.
