Description

Amazon CONTACTLESS HALL SENSING INSTEAD OF A CARBON TRACK: Each joystick reads stick position through a magnetic field, so there is no contact surface to grind away and no worn potentiometer track to send a resting stick wandering. The metal bracket on every module is stamped HALL3D. Because nothing rubs, the module keeps its centre far longer than the carbon stick it replaces, and the contactless design also copes with dust, oil and humid air. SIX PIECES IN THE BOX, COUNTED: The kit holds 2 joystick modules, 1 Y 1.5 tri-wing screwdriver that opens the back cover, 1 cross 1.5 screwdriver for the screws inside, 1 blue pry tool of 8.6 cm and 1 curved ESD-15 tweezers of 12.2 cm. Both drivers are 10.8 cm long and carry a weak magnetic tip that keeps a loose screw from dropping into the shell. ONE MODULE FOR THREE HANDHELDS: This replacement joystick is a drop-in part for Nintendo Switch, for Switch OLED Joy-Con and for the stick built into the Switch Lite, so you do not need a separate module for each console. The pack carries two identical modules, enough for the left and the right Joy-Con of one pair, or one fitting now and a spare for later. CALIBRATE BEFORE YOU JUDGE THE FIT: Once the module is in, open System Settings, pick Controllers and Sensors and run Calibrate Control Sticks, then hold the power button until the console powers right down and start it again. A freshly fitted stick that reads off-centre has almost always been left uncalibrated rather than sent out faulty. WHAT IT DOES NOT FIT: The note printed on the pack limits this part to the three models named above. It is not a part for Nintendo Switch 2, whose Joy-Con 2 uses a different housing. Spare screws are not in the box either, so keep every screw you take out. This is an aftermarket repair part from Tolesum and not an official item for Nintendo.
