TONTA

Ediciones La Cupula Tonta Spanish Comic. Tonta is spending the weekend at the home of her exuberant half-sister Vivian Solis, who lately, for a change, is having problems.Mel Spropp, an old friend of her mother, seems willing to hire her at the Cobia Club, but it´s still early to tell.Meanwhile, the enigmatic Gretchen sings the mysteries of summer in the heart of the forest, a punk band called Ooot is all the rage among the local youth, and Tont´s stepfather is seriously injured during a robbery attempt. What if instead of a robbery attempt it was the criminal maneuver of a family member? Ugh, lonely Tonta, whose real name is Anoush, is about to find out a lot of secrets this crappy summer. When Maggie, Hopey and the rest of his protagonists are already grown women, Jaime Hernandez feels the urge to revisit the mysteries of adolescence, and for this he turns to Tonta, who will become another memorable character in the universe of Locas. With his characteristic episodic style and using that precise black and white, Jaime immerses us in another choral story, entangles us in family trees and again makes us feel that we are the ones completing passages, putting together the puzzle, being an inexcusable part of one of the richest and most emotional sagas in contemporary comics, an endless masterpiece that is once again expanded in this sexy, intriguing and deeply human book. tradeinn Techinn
