Island-hopping release with bold, feisty character. Torabhaig Decadent Drinks Old Skye Series Single Malt Scotch 8 year old 52% ABV Nose: Fresh, crystalline peat, sea air, crisp bonfire smoke, some jangling seashells and coastal minerals. Then a wee fug of more dense, farmyard impressions. Palate: Thick, peaty, briny and full of lemon juice, pasta water, smoked olive oil and ideas of tar and hessian. Finish: Long, lemony, peaty, ashy and bright with seawater and smoked sea salt.
