Trend CRB Combination Router Base

The TREND CRB Combination Router Base is a retro fit, quick-change, multi-functional router base designed to enhance router versatility and performance. It aims to improve the quality of finish on every routing pass, reduce the possibility of error, and increase stability and precision during routing tasks. It also helps save setup time between tasks and minimizes the need for storing handmade jigs. The base offers seven functions, including an offset baseplate, router compass with a 19 mm to 224 mm radius, adjustable trenching with 40 mm micro adjustment, adjustable anti-tilt support, adjustable mortising from 50 mm to 200 mm width, and an adjustable false panel groove copier, while also supporting the Varijig Frame System as an anti-tilt device when used with compatible guide bushes.

Technical specifications

The CRB fits most routers with two fence rod holes of 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm at centers of 78mm to 130mm. It includes a plastic baseplate with handle, a bridge, two rods (8mm dia x 270mm), a bridge shim pack, a scale, a pivot pin, and a pair of mortise pillars. Accessories include an edge trimming base for trimming lipping up to 16mm wide and 6mm projection, and accessory extension rods to increase the radius by up to 560mm. When used with suitable routers and guide bushes (Euro style), it enhances the anti-tilt capability in conjunction with the Varijig Frame System.
