This TREND Snap/Cs/10 Countersink is a high-speed steel bit designed for clean, precise countersinking in wood and related materials. It features a 9.5 mm (3/8 inch) cutting diameter and a 1/4 inch HEX shank for easy swapping with quick-release drills. The countersink includes a replaceable 3.25 mm (1/8 inch) piloting drill and an adjustable drilling length to accommodate different timber thicknesses. It can be used for countersinking as well as counterboring, and is compatible with Trend Snappy Snap/Pc/95T or Snap/Pc/38 plug cutters when fixing heads need to be concealed. Made from hardened tool steel, this bit is suited for both softwoods and hardwoods, and is designed for robust performance with No. 10 screws in softwood and No. 8 screws in hardwood.
