The journey begins with the one that started it all, Richard Donner´s *Superman: The Movie* (1978). Witness the definitive origin story, from the last days of Krypton to Clark Kent´s formative years in Smallville and his emergence in Metropolis as a beacon of hope. Christopher Reeve´s iconic and heartfelt performance defined the character for generations and set the gold standard for all superhero films to follow. The adventure continues with *Superman II* (1980), where Superman makes the ultimate sacrifice for love, only to be forced back into action when three Kryptonian criminals, led by the menacing General Zod, arrive on Earth to conquer it. This collection often includes the highly sought-after Richard Donner Cut, offering a different and compelling version of the beloved sequel. Next, explore a different side of the hero in *Superman III* (1983), which sees the Man of Steel face a dual threat: a megalomaniacal tycoon with a supercomputer and a flawed version of Kryptonite that splits him into two beings—one good, one evil. The saga featuring the original cast concludes with *Superman IV: The Quest for Peace* (1987), a film born from Christopher Reeve´s own passion, where Superman takes on the monumental task of ridding the world of nuclear weapons, a mission that puts him in the crosshairs of his most powerful foe yet, Nuclear Man.Finally, the collection bridges the gap to a new era with Bryan Singer´s *Superman Returns* (2006). A reverent homage and spiritual successor to the first two films, this visually stunning movie sees the hero return to Earth after a long absence to find a world that has learned to live without him. Brandon Routh dons the cape in a performance that beautifully channels the spirit of Christopher Reeve, facing off against Lex Luthor in a diabolical plot that threatens the entire globe.Presented on a multi-disc set of DVD´s, this collection ensures you can experience these classic films in their original english language, preserving the cinematic experience.
