Due to MCU being 5V devices, while most modern sensors, displays, flash cards, and modes only support 3.3V, many manufacturers have found that they need to perform level shifting/conversion to protect 3.3V devices from 5V effects. Due to the fact that the chip is a special bidirectional level converter, it does not have powerful output pins that can drive LEDs or long cables, so it should be located on the breadboard between two logic chips! The chip performs bidirectional level conversion from almost any voltage to any voltage and automatically detects direction. Although resistors can be used to make voltage dividers, for high-speed transmission, resistors will increase a lot of conversion and cause serious damage that is difficult to debug.we prefer to use the 4050/74LVX245 series and similar logic to perform appropriate level transitions. This breakthrough eliminates the need to solder the very fine pitch packaging that comes with the chip. We have also added 0.1uF capacitors on both sides and a 10K pull-up resistor on the output enable pin, so you can use it out of the box!
