This Ubiflex Black 3.5mm thick B3 Lead Alternative is a non-lead flashing material suItable for all traditional lead applications. Made with a modified polyethin compound and aluminium mesh reinforcement, it is eco-friendly, non-toxic, and recyclable. Ubiflex is 80% lighter than lead, making it easier to handle, and offers structural, health, and safety benefits. It installs 50% quicker than lead, is completely malleable, and self-seals if punctured. Unlike lead, it is not affected by thermal movement, allowing up to 6m long aprons without seams or joints, reducing wastage. Certified by BBA and approved by NHBC and Zurich insurance, this product is reliable. It is available in 6m lengths and 1000mm widths. Use Ubiflex High Tack Sealant for proper application.
