No changing bits between sizes. MADE FOR SHEET METAL: For drilling sheet metal and other thin materials. Each step only cuts as deep as the step is tall, so it's for thin sheet, not thick plate. For thick plate or deep holes, use a cobalt drill bit instead. EVERY STEP IS MARKED: Each step has its size marked on the bit, so you can see which hole you're drilling. The slope up to the next step takes off the sharp edge, for a clean, burr-free hole. TITANIUM COATED HSS: High speed steel with a titanium coating that reduces heat and friction. The 1/4 inch hex shank fits a standard drill chuck and the flat sides stop it slipping. Use drill mode, not hammer. FOR A CLEAN HOLE: Clamp the sheet down, keep a steady speed with light, even pressure and go slower on the bigger steps. Use cutting fluid on steel and stainless. Supplied in its own tube.
