General description The Union 21EU StrongBOLT Euro Profile Deadlock is designed for timber doors hinged on either side, accommodating doors up to 54mm thick. It features a 14mm deadbolt that can be locked or unlocked with a key from both sides, ensuring secure deadlocking. The lock is equipped with hardened steel pins for resistance against sawing attacks and a chamfered bolt design that enhances performance under side load testing. The radius plastic splinter guard facilitates easy installation, allowing the deadbolt to be fitted into many UK mortices without additional carpentry or damaging the door edge.
