Vallejo allejo Airbrush thinner, 200 ml,beige

Vallejo Airbrush Thinner - 200ml Acrylic Paint Thinner Vallejo Airbrush Thinner 71.161 is designed to dilute Model Air and Liquid Acrylic colours, improving their fluidity and extending drying time. Supplied in a 200ml bottle, it allows modellers to adjust paint consistency for airbrushing and brush application while maintaining the colour's adhesion and resistance. Unlike simply adding more colour, using the appropriate amount of thinner allows the paint to flow more freely without compromising its intended performance. This is particularly useful when preparing acrylic colours for application through an airbrush or adjusting their consistency for brush painting. Improving Paint Flow and Drying Time Vallejo Airbrush Thinner increases the fluidity of acrylic colours, helping them flow more easily during application. It also delays drying, providing additional working time when applying paint to scale models and miniatures. The thinner is formulated to dilute colour without loss of adhesion, resistance or consistency. This allows the paint to retain its intended properties while its fluidity and drying behaviour are adjusted. It is suitable for use with Vallejo Model Air and Liquid Acrylic colours, providing a dedicated thinning product for these paint ranges. Recommended Thinning Ratios The amount of thinner added depends on how the paint will be applied. Vallejo provides different maximum dilution percentages for airbrush and brush-applied colours: Airbrush colours: Add a maximum of 25% Airbrush Thinner to the colour. Brush-applied colours: Add a maximum of 50% Airbrush Thinner to the colour. For airbrushing, thinner can be introduced a few drops at a time to adjust the paint's fluidity. The recommended maximum percentages provide a useful guide when preparing colours for different application methods. Using Vallejo Airbrush Thinner When preparing paint, the thinner can be added directly to the colour to increase fluidity and delay drying. The amount used can be adjusted according to the application method while remaining within the recommended dilution limits. For scale modellers using Vallejo acrylic colours, this provides a straightforward way to manage paint consistency during painting sessions without changing the colour's adhesion or resistance. The 200ml format is suitable for keeping alongside frequently used model paints and airbrushing equipment, particularly when several colours require thinning during a painting session.
