Made in the USA from high grade American hickory, Vater Drumsticks are made the same as they've always been, resulting in a consistent and durable drumstick: Hands-on craftsmanship, higher moisture content in the raw material, lathe turned, tumble finished and hand rolled. All Vater Drumsticks are tone and weight matched by computer analysis. The Vater Manhattan 7A Wood Tip Drum drumsticks are lighter and thinner than the standard 5A drum drumstick. Slightly longer and heavier than a standard 7A the Manhattan 7A features a small round head for defined cymbal work and their extra length and weight ensures they still perform with power and aggression when required.
