Made in the USA from high grade American hickory, Vater Drumsticks are made the same as they've always been, resulting in a consistent and durable drumstick: Hands-on craftsmanship, higher moisture content in the raw material, lathe turned, tumble finished and hand rolled. All Vater Drumsticks are tone and weight matched by computer analysis. The Vater American Hickory 3A 'Lite' is a scaled-down version of the extremely popular Fatback 3A model. It has a 7A sized grip with a short taper for a solid feel but due to its smaller size is much lighter . It is a well-rounded model that can be used in a wide variety of settings and musical styles giving a fuller sound than you might expect from a drumstick design with smaller specs.
