A member of the punk rock band the Vandals since 1989, Freese has also been a member of new wave band Devo since 1996 and rock band Foo Fighters since 2023 Designed to slot between a 5A and 5B with a short taper and heavy shoulder. Josh's Vater design provides a solid feel, great response and durability, yet still sensitive enough for lighter playing, with a slightly enlarged version of a 5A tip.
