Protect your investment from damage caused by abrasion, sharp stones, intrusive thorns, and rough branches, ensuring your tent remains in prime condition for many adventures to come. This tent ground cloth is precision-cut to perfectly match the outer tent´s floor plan, including the vestibule (apsis) area. This exact fit is a critical design feature, as it prevents rainwater from collecting between the footprint and the tent floor, a common issue with generic tarps that can lead to moisture seeping into your living space. By extending coverage to the vestibule, it also creates a clean, dry surface for stowing your backpack, boots, and other gear, keeping them protected from mud and ground dampness.Crafted from a highly durable, long-lasting material, the footprint offers superior waterproof protection. It forms a reliable barrier against rising ground moisture, significantly increasing the overall waterproofing of your shelter and ensuring a dry, comfortable night´s sleep, even on damp or saturated ground.Despite its rugged construction, the footprint is remarkably lightweight and boasts a small pack size. It adds minimal weight and bulk to your pack, making it an ideal and practical accessory for multi-day treks, bikepacking tours, and any adventure where every gram counts. By using this groundsheet, you are not only safeguarding your primary shelter but also making a smart, sustainable choice. Extending the lifespan of your tent reduces consumption and waste, aligning with VAUDE´s commitment to creating environmentally responsible outdoor equipment.
