The VOX VALVENERGY series offer four distinctive sounding effects pedals that put the sounds of classic valve amps amd the response and harmonic distortion of a tube amp into a foot pedal Each pedal uses Nutube (Vacuum fluorescent display technology) which works like a conventional vacuum tube but is smaller and more reliable but delivers the same rich overtones and sense of power of a vacuum tube amp The MYSTIC EDGE pedal delivers the sound of the classic VOX AC30. Developed in 1959, the AC30’s iconic chime and edgy sound has been widely used, starting in the 60s and 70s, and continuing into today's music. Controls: GAIN, VOLUME, TREBLE, MIDDLE, BASS plus a BRIGHT switch which is placed before the distortion stage to provide a different character of distortion in each position Each pedal is equipped with a high-contrast OLED display showing as an oscilloscope providing a visual image of how the waveform is affected by the knob settings
