Wallrock Dampstop Thermic Roll

Wallrock Dampstop Aluminium Thermic Foil Damp Barrier Roll is designed to protect walls from damp and improve energy efficiency. The aluminium foil lining provides a damp barrier and heat reflection to reduce heat loss, making it suitable for areas prone to damp such as basements and bathrooms. This tough, rot-proof, salt-resistant wall lining can be painted or covered after drying. The roll measures 1.0 m by 10 m, covering about 5 square metres, and weighs around 1.5 kg.

It acts as a barrier against penetrating damp and is particularly effective behind radiators and appliances. The product is intended to be installed by applying suitable damp-proofing adhesive to a clean, dry wall surface, then aligning and smoothing out air bubbles. A damp-stop adhesive is recommended for application, and once dry, finishing with paint or wallcovering is possible.

This foil-based, heat-reflective barrier is designed to improve comfort and energy efficiency by reducing heat loss while offering moisture protection for walls.

Usage

1. Ensure the wall surface is clean and dry before application.
2. Cut the wallpaper to the desired length.
3. Apply adhesive suitable for damp-proofing.
4. Align the wallpaper carefully and smooth out any air bubbles.
5. Use the dampstop adhesive to apply this paste the wall product.
