The lids are approved by the FSA for use by commercial and domestic makers of jams, chutneys, marmalades, sauces and relishes of all kinds. These glass jars can be sterilised in the dish washer or oven. If using the oven, wash the jars first, then sit them on a baking tray in the oven at 110 degrees for 10 minutes.
