The lids are BPA/chemical free and approved for use by the FSA (Food Standard Agency). These can be sterilised in the dish washer or oven. If using the oven wash them first then sit them on a baking tray in the oven at 110 degrees for 10 minutes. Lids can be blanched in boiling water.
