The Alphacool XPX Aurora Pro Light is the little sister of the XPX Pro water cooler. It offers a clearer design, but does not use the ramp system of the XPX Pro models. As a result, the view of the water channels is eliminated, giving you a much brighter appearance on the coolant. The cooler, like the other XPX Pro models, is specially optimized for the AMD Threadripper, Intel LGA 3647 and 2011/2066 processors. How is the CPU cooler illuminated? As with all new ice block CPU water coolers, put Alphacool for an integrated aRGB solution. Under the black frame, 14 digital RGB LEDs are mounted, which run around the entire cooler once. Each of these 5V ARGB LEDs can be controlled separately. As a result, all known effects are possible, depending on the selected controller. Each LED can be controlled individually. On an area of approximately 42 x 58.6 mm, 147 cooling fins run. For comparison, a Alphacool Ice Block XPX Aurora only needs 81 cooling fins to completely cover the processor core of a normal CPU. Both coolers use the same kind of fins with a thickness of only 0.2 mm. Is the assembly difficult? The assembly is not difficult. Peel off the protective film from the cooler floor, iron slightly of the provided heat-conducting paste onto the CPU, then turn on the cooler.
