Amazon BONSAI TRAINING WIRE, 6.0 MM, 150 G – Black anodised aluminium wire for wiring and shaping bonsai branches and trunks. This 6.0 mm wire suits thick branches and trunks of about 18 mm. ANODISED ALUMINIUM, MADE IN JAPAN – Made in Japan. Soft and easy to bend by hand, light, and rust-free; the matt black anodised finish is discreet among the branches. HOW TO USE – As a rule of thumb, choose wire about one third as thick as the branch. Wind it at about 45° in even coils without pressing into the bark, bend the branch gently, and remove the wire before it starts to mark the bark. SIZE – 6.0 mm diameter, approx. 1.8 m per 150 g coil (inner diameter 120 mm). Cut with a bonsai wire cutter (not included). COMBINE SIZES – Keep several thicknesses to hand, from thick wire for trunks to fine wire for twigs. Also useful for ikebana and crafts. Store in a dry place.
