Applications: Our 50gsm Weed Control Fabric is our lightweight variant that is best suited to be used under gardening applications such as mulch, raised beds, sandpits as well as decorative layers such as bark, stone chippings, pebbles and more. Fully Permeable Membrane: The membrane is made from a spun bond polypropylene that is thermally bonded together to provide excellent air and water permeability. This means that any potential weed growth is blocked whilst water and nutrients can still pass through to the soil below. Heavy Duty Fabric: This Weed Control Fabric has a thickness of 50g/m² to withstand weeds and Rhizome penetrating from underneath the membrane. Easy to set up: Simply lay down the Weed Fabric and unroll to your desired length. We would recommend using a safety knife or scissors to cut the fabric. Remove all vegetation before levelling the soil. Lay the fabric over the soil and secure using u-pins or plastic pegs. Lastly, add a generous layer of mulch or decorative aggregate over the fabric within 48 hours to protect the membrane from U.V. light.
