This 4.0 mm chisel tip is designed to deliver heat to solder joints greater than 4 mm wide on PCBs and is suitable for various soldering tasks, including joining wires (>8AWG), audio components, and electrical repairs in automotive, marine, hobby kits, and crafts. The tip is easy to change toollessly by pulling the old tip off and pushing the new tip on, provided the soldering iron is turned off and the tip is allowed to cool before removal.
