This non-contact voltage detector is designed to detect and locate live electrical conductors, cable interruptions, and related electrical faults. It provides an initial indication of whether an area is live through optical and audible signals. A permanently green LED shows when the device is ready, and during voltage testing LEDs light blue (weak), orange, or red (strong) depending on the strength of the alternating current field. The unit automatically powers off after four minutes of inactivity to save energy. An integrated flashlight illuminates the measurement point in dark environments and can be used independently as a flashlight. The compact form with a push-on clip fits into pockets for easy access, and the measurement tip is suitable for international usage, making it suitable for a wide range of socket variants worldwide. Designed for CAT IV 1000 VAC, the single-pole tester complies with EN 61010-1/IEC 61326 and operates in temperatures from −20 to 40°C. It runs on 2 × AAA batteries and includes international applicability for voltage ranges from 12 to 1,000 V AC.
