These thick and chunky women's’ boot socks are extra long, with a generous turn over top to help seal out the cold. Elasticated foot and ankle supports are woven in to keep the socks secure on your feet and provide gentle support to the muscles. The thickly knitted style is ideal for gardeners, horse riders and all ‘big’ boot wearers. Like all Heat Holders, these long welly boot socks are lined with dense, super-soft brushed fleece, TOG rated to 2.3 for proven warmth. The socks are woven from a specially developed heavy bulk thermal yarn with long looped cushioning inside. The looped lining of each sock is intensively brushed into soft fibres designed to trap the air that has been already heated by your body and hold it close to the skin, to keep you warm through your day.
