X Rap OTUS XROU17 GMTU

Rapala X-rap Otus Glidebait 40g 170 Mm. The Rapala X-Rap Otus is a hybrid glidebait for trophy predators. Combining a hard body with a soft, wafting tail, it delivers irresistible side-to-side rolling action on retrieve and a stabilizing parachute effect on pause. Ideal for cold water and tough conditions, its slow sink rate and dual action trigger strikes from lethargic fish. Built tough with a 6-point stainless plate and VMC hooks, it includes a spare tail for extended predator-hunting action. Rapala X-Rap Otus Glidebait 40g 170mm | Hybrid Predator SwimbaitUnleash the ultimate predator magnet with the Rapala X-Rap® Otus, a revolutionary hybrid glidebait designed to dominate the water and entice the largest and most cautious gamefish. Meticulously engineered for anglers targeting trophy pike, musky, zander, and other apex predators, the Otus combines proven hardbait action with the irresistible subtlety of a soft plastic tail, creating a presentation that even the most pressured fish cannot resist.A formidable creature, the X-Rap® Otus, combines Rapala's fish-catching X-Rap® construction with a beautifully color matched curl tail to create a seamless hybrid bait. With its slow sink rate and wide wafting tail, X-Rap® Otus is the ideal choice for cold water & challenging conditions. The body rolls side-to-side as the enormous curl tail pulses behind when retrieved. When paused, the tail acts as a parachute, stabilizing the lure as it slowly swims into the depths. The soft tail is firmly secured to the body with a 6-point stainless plate. Replacement tail included. Fitted with VMC® Coastal Black hooks.Mastering Cold and Challenging WatersWhen the bite gets tough and fish are lethargic, the X-Rap® Otus truly shines. Its precisely calibrated slow sink rate allows it to hang seductively in the strike zone for an extended period, giving hesitant predators ample time to commit. This makes it an unparalleled tool for cold-water seasons or post-frontal conditions when fish are less willing to chase fast-moving baits. The broad, wafting action of the tail moves with minimal forward momentum, generating a powerful visual and vibrational trigger that awakens dormant predators.A Hypnotic, Dual-Action RetrieveThe magic of the Otus lies in its dynamic, dual-part action. On a steady retrieve, the hard X-Rap® body executes a wide, tantalizing side-to-side roll, flashing its sides and mimicking a distressed baitfish. Simultaneously, the enormous curl tail kicks and pulses with a life of its own, creating a complex, layered movement that is both visually stimulating and acoustically powerful. On the pause, the lure doesn´t just die, the soft tail acts as a parachute, slowing its descent and adding a final, quivering pulse as it glides down, triggering explosive reaction strikes.Built for Battle, Engineered for DurabilityDesigned to withstand the bone-crushing power of giant predators, the X-Rap® Otus is built for longevity and performance. The soft tail is not merely glued on, it is anchored to the body with a rock-solid 6-point stainless plate locking system, ensuring it can endure vicious strikes and prolonged battles without failing. Every Otus comes equipped with premium, ultra-sharp VMC® Coastal Black™ treble hooks for superior penetration and holding power. For maximum value and time on the water, a spare matched tail is included in every package.Product Features:* ABS Body with Soft PVC Tail* 6-Point Stainless Plate Tail Locking System* Wafting Curl Tail with Body Roll* Large Predator Gamefish* VMC® Coastal Black™ Treble Hooks* Spare tail includedTechnical Specifications:* Product: Rapala X-Rap Otus Glidebait* Category: Lures* Subcategory: Glidebaits and Swimbaits* Length: 170 mm* Weight: 40 g* Size Profile: Part of the 151-205 mm range* Weight Class: Part of the 30-49 gr range* Diving Depth: Variable* Action: Slow Sinking, Side-to-Side Roll with Tail Pulse. tradeinn Waveinn
