Rapala X-Rap Peto Glidebait 140mm 39g | The Ultimate Hybrid Predator LureUnleash the ultimate predator-hunting weapon with the Rapala X-Rap Peto Glidebait 140 mm 39g. This masterfully crafted lure from the Glidebaits and Swimbaits category is engineered to dominate the water and entice the largest and most cautious predators.Known as ´The Finnish Beast,´ the X-Rap® Peto combines Rapala's legendary fish-catching X-Rap® construction with a beautifully color-matched soft tail to create a seamless and deadly hybrid bait. The true genius of the Peto lies in its mesmerizing action. With its meticulously engineered slow sink rate and a perfectly horizontal fall, it flawlessly imitates a dying or wounded baitfish, presenting an irresistible, easy meal for lurking predators. This makes the X-Rap® Peto the ideal choice for conquering cold water and other challenging conditions where fish are less aggressive and require a more subtle, natural presentation. On a steady retrieve, the tail kicks with a wide, provocative action, creating significant water displacement and a tantalizing body roll that calls fish in from a distance. For a more erratic presentation, employ a jerk-and-pause technique, this allows the bait to glide and slowly swim into the depths, triggering explosive reaction strikes from even the most wary predators. Its versatility allows you to adapt your retrieve to match the mood of the fish and the conditions of the day.Designed specifically to target large predator gamefish, the X-Rap Peto is your go-to lure for trophy pike, musky, and large zander. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand vicious strikes and prolonged battles. The soft tail is not merely attached, it is firmly secured to the durable body with an innovative 6-point stainless plate locking system. This ensures maximum durability and keeps the lure swimming true, fish after fish. For added value and peace of mind, a spare tail is included with every lure.
