The Yale P402BK traditional rim lock provides basic security suitable for internal doors, gates, sheds, or outbuildings where high security is not required. It features a black finish, a 102 mm by 76 mm case, and is supplied with two keys. The lock is operated by a key and handle from either side, with a deadlocking bolt on turning the key. It is designed for use with rim lock knob handles and is installed by fastening the lock with screws and securing the keep with screws. Aimed at simple, straightforward applications, it carries a standard security rating and a two-year guarantee.
