The Yale P84DMGPB standard nightlatch is a compact, 40mm backset locking mechanism designed for doors with restricted space, such as narrow or glass-paneled doors. It operates with a key from the outside and a lever handle from the inside, and it automatically deadlocks when the door closes. A snib function allows the latch to be held back for convenience. The lock features a dark metallic grey hardened case and a polished brass cylinder, is supplied with a 1109 cylinder and two keys, and comes with a 2-year guarantee. It carries a standard security rating and includes anti-bump features.
