A BALANCED & ROUND WHISKY: Yamazakura is a round and gourmet whisky blended by the Asaka distillery. Traditional in the making, it is blended and aged to perfection to bring out a smooth and delicate whisky. A DOUBLE CASK AGEING: Made from 20% malted barley and aged for 3 years in bourbon and sherry barrels, Yamazakura Blended reveals a delicate and smooth whisky with notes of pear, vanilla and cereals. A TRIBUTE TO JAPAN: Asaka distillery is located in the Koriyama plain in Japan. "Yama" means "mountains" and "zakura" stands for "sakura" meaning "cherry trees", as a tribute to the Tohoku area (where the distillery stands), worldwildly known for its blooming trees. ACCELERATED AGEING : The specific climate in Japan, hot summers and cold winters allows Yamazakura whiskies to benefit from a more rapid aging, giving them complexity and richness in a short period of time. CAN BE ENJOYED IN MULTIPLE WAYS : Can be enjoyed neat or the traditionnal Japanese way: in a highball glass with soda water and ice.
