ZEFAL Cotton Rim Tape (2 Units) - The Ultimate Inner Tube GuardianEnsure the reliability and longevity of your wheelset with the ZEFAL Cotton Rim Tape, an essential repair and protection component for any cyclist´s wheels and tyres. The unsung hero of a puncture-free ride, this pair of rim tapes provides a critical barrier between your inner tube and the potentially sharp spoke holes and rough surfaces of the rim bed. By preventing friction, abrasion, and punctures from the inside out, you can ride with greater confidence and peace of mind.Superior Protection and Unmatched DurabilityCrafted from a robust, 100% woven cotton material, the ZEFAL rim tape is engineered for exceptional performance under the most demanding conditions. Its primary benefit is its outstanding resistance to both high pressure and high temperatures. When you inflate your tyres, the inner tube exerts immense force on the rim, this cotton tape will not stretch, deform, or allow the tube to herniate through spoke holes, a common cause of sudden flats. Furthermore, for riders using rim brakes, the tape's ability to withstand high temperatures is crucial. During long, technical descents, braking generates significant heat that can melt inferior plastic tapes, leading to catastrophic inner tube failure. The ZEFAL cotton tape remains stable and protective, safeguarding your ride when it matters most.Designed for a Flawless Fit and Easy InstallationInstallation is made simple and secure thanks to the tape´s adhesive side. This thoughtful feature ensures the rim tape stays perfectly in place at the bottom of the rim, without shifting or bunching up during the often-tricky process of mounting an inner tube and tyre. A perfectly centered and stable tape is key to uniform protection. Each tape includes a precisely drilled hole that accommodates both Presta and Schrader valves, offering wide compatibility across different wheel and tube setups. Sold as a pack of two, you have everything you need to outfit a complete wheelset. These high-quality Rim tapes are the go-to choice for cyclists building new wheels or performing essential maintenance, offering a significant upgrade in reliability over standard-issue tapes.
