Zinsser Allcoat Exterior (Satin Finish) Solvent Based 2.5lt (Black or White) White

AllCoat Exterior Satin (Solvent Based) is a mould-resistant exterior paint designed to protect a wide range of surfaces, including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and cladding. It forms a vapour-permeable, low-maintenance coating that sheds water and can be recoated in just 3 hours. The formulation is suitable for low-temperature application, drying to handle in cold conditions down to 5°C and resisting showers within 1 hour. Available in white and black with bases that can be tinted to any colour, it is self-priming and can be applied to previously painted surfaces without the need for sanding.

The product aims to provide durable colour retention with easy maintenance. It is designed for long intervals between maintenance, with claims of up to 15 years before first maintenance, and is suitable for a range of exterior surfaces, including those with previous coatings. It can be thinned only lightly when spraying, and thinning is not normally required.

This coating offers practical performance benefits, including compatibility with asbestos, lead, uPVC and bitumen, and a straightforward, two-coat approach for coverage, while maintaining flexibility and resistance to weathering. It combines mould resistance with strong adhesion and a self-priming feature to simplify application on diverse exterior substrates.

Usage

1. For optimal results, remove any existing mould and mildew before application.
