Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus - White - 1L

Bulls Eye® 1-2-3 Plus is a versatile water-based primer, sealer and stain killer suitable for interior and exterior metal surfaces. It provides rust inhibitive protection to resist flash rusting and forms a smooth, water-resistant film when dry. The product is mould and mildew-resistant, making it suitable for high-humidity areas such as bathrooms and laundry rooms. It can be applied over a variety of substrates and stains, including water and smoke stains, and is compatible with glossy surfaces, ceramic tiles, galvanized metal, vinyl, hardboard, melamine, varnish, plastic, GRP and PVCu. The finish is white, and the product comes in a 1 litre tin.

Designed for use on iron railings, steel doors, metal panels, duct work and galvanized gutters, Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Plus delivers quick drying and low odour characteristics. It has a pH of 12.5 and a coverage rate of 10 m² per litre. Touch dry occurs in about 35 minutes, with a hard dry around 7 days, and re-coating is possible after 1 hour. The formulation is designed to be used as a base coat for interior and exterior projects, combining stain-blocking capabilities with strong adhesion to a variety of substrates.

This high-performance primer is noted for ultra-low VOC content and fast drying times, making it a practical choice for projects requiring efficient turnaround and durable protection on metal surfaces.

Usage

1. Consult the technical data sheet for thinning guidance.
2. Apply to prepared surfaces, ensuring compatibility with substrates.
3. Allow touch dry in approximately 35 minutes.
4. Recoat after about 1 hour, once dry.
