Artisan Oude Genever from Zuidam Distillers which has been aged for 3 years in oak barrels Vanilla toffee with hints of soft oak, vanilla and a touch of juniper Best drunk neat or over ice as you would a whisky. Great paired with a craft beer Can also be served in a long drink with ginger ale or cola, or used to replace whisky in a classic cocktail Oude style Genever is made with a rich base spirit known as 'malt-wine' which has a fruity, malty flavour similar to whisky. This is then flavoured with herbs and spices. For Zuidam Oude Genever, we then age this for 3 years in new American oak casks to enhance the fruity flavours and notes of vanilla and toffee Zuidam Distillers make all of their own 'malt-wine' in traditional pot stills at their distillery in Baarle-Nassau
