Automatic shut-off after 5 minutes helps to prolong battery life, and it's easy to change them when required. Tolerance of vials in normal/upside down position is 0.5 mm/m. Electronic unit tolerance in horizontal (0) and vertical (90) position is 0.05, for other angles 0.1.
