You will receive eight Acorn fence tops and eight 4" fence post caps. Plastic fence caps to fit a 4” or 100mm fence post (the caps are designed to be a little larger than the post so they fit over with a lip which protects the post from water penetration). Easy to fit with a single nail or screw fixing (the nails/screws are not included with the caps). The acorn is 86mm high x 68mm wide. Keeps the post dry thus reducing rotting. These are injection moulded in polypropylene and UV stabilised. To fit the Acorn and cap to the post, you place the cap on the post with the bottom half of the acorn. Screw or nail through the hole in both into the fence post then push the top half of the acorn into place using the fixing pins.
