Altra Escalante 5 Women's Running Shoes

The Escalante 5 by Altra is a running shoe designed for a natural feel and close ground contact. With a low stack height and zero heel-to-toe drop, it positions the foot for an efficient, functional running technique and is suitable for road running, walking, and speed work. Central to the ride is the Altra EGO midsole, delivering responsive cushioning that remains connected to the ground. The updated rubber outsole offers solid grip and durability on asphalt over many kilometers. The FootShape Original fit provides extra space for the toes and allows natural foot spreading, while the engineered knit upper adapts to the foot for a secure, comfortable fit. The design features a knit upper with a redesigned collar for a secure, locked-in feel around the ankle, elevated tongue details to reduce irritation, and Altra’s traditional lacing system to lock down the midfoot. The product line includes a desert flower colorway with textile/synthetic upper and lining and a synthetic sole.
