The Altra Olympus 7 is a maximally cushioned trail shoe designed for men, built to support long days on rough terrain with a soft, protective running sensation. It features an Updated EGO MAX midsole that is lighter and softer than previous versions, delivering a soft, springy feel mile after mile. A Vibram outsole with Megagrip and Tractionlug pattern provides secure grip on both wet and dry trails, while the breathable engineered mesh upper is reinforced with TPU overlays. A padded tongue and an integrated comfort collar help hold the foot in place, and a 0 mm heel drop promotes a natural foot strike by keeping the heel and forefoot at the same level. The shoe also offers a spacious toe box to accommodate toes during extended runs, making it suitable for long training sessions and ultrarunning.
