The LED UV water filter is ideal for point of use applications to help protect against bacteria & microorganisms. The system comprises of a compact stainless steel chamber containing LED lamp beads producing ultraviolet rays. As water flows through the system microorganisms are exposed to the UV light within the chamber. Utilises the latest in UV water treatment technology, by using LED lamp beads to produce UV rays the system is extremely energy efficient and has a long lifespan, which can be powered by either a UK plug adaptor (included) or 12v / 24v DC car or campervan plug (included). At up to 4 litres per minute flow rate this system is suitable for use with under sink water filters and water dispensers. The system is supplied with fittings to connect directly to 1/4" outer diameter water pipe, so that it can be connected easily in-line with an existing filter system. The LED UV system features an integrated flow switch meaning that the LEDs are only lit when water is being used, with a LED lifespan of 7000 hours. With typical usage the system can last for many years with no maintenance required (5+ years design life* Provided usage parameters are followed).
