Each roll of Arctic Hayes PTFE tape is 12mm wide, 12 metres long, and wound on a spool to facilitate winding around pipe threads. This thread seal tape lubricates the threads allowing for a deeper seating, and it helps prevent the threads from seizing when being unscrewed. The tape also works as a deformable filler and thread lubricant, helping to seal the joint without hardening and making it easier to tighten.
