Live starter bacteria for ponds – ARKA Nite-Out II Pond is a bacteria blend for a fast, safe and fish-friendly start of any pond. For a new start, spring start and freshly cleaned ponds. Reduces ammonia and nitrite – Nite-Out II Pond establishes beneficial bacteria for working nitrification. This effectively reduces ammonia, which is toxic to fish, and harmful nitrite in the pond. Prepares for fish stocking – Before koi, goldfish and other ornamental fish go in, Nite-Out II Pond builds up the filter biology. Suitable from 7 °C, at KH 6 °dH or more and pH 7.2–8.4. Dosage by pond size – First use up to 2,000 l 30 ml, 10,000 l 150 ml, 20,000 l 300 ml, 30,000 l 600 ml, 40,000 l 900 ml, 50,000 l 1,200 ml. Follow-up doses on days 8, 15, 22, 29 and monthly as per label. First use for up to 205,000 litres – The 5000 ml canister covers the first use for up to 205,000 litres, follow-up doses need more. Switch off UV clarifier, skimmer and ozone for about 72 hours after each dose.
