Live starter bacteria for ponds – ARKA Nite-Out II Pond is a bacteria blend for a fast, safe and fish-friendly start of any pond. For a new start, spring start and freshly cleaned ponds. Reduces ammonia and nitrite – Nite-Out II Pond establishes beneficial bacteria for working nitrification. This effectively reduces ammonia, which is toxic to fish, and harmful nitrite in the pond. Prepares for fish stocking – Before koi, goldfish and other ornamental fish go in, Nite-Out II Pond builds up the filter biology. Suitable from 7 °C, at KH 6 °dH or more and pH 7.2–8.4. Dosage by pond size – First use up to 2,000 l 30 ml, up to 10,000 l 150 ml and up to 20,000 l 300 ml. On days 8, 15, 22 and 29 half the amount, then monthly the first amount. Shake well before use. First use for up to 63,000 litres – The 946 ml bottle covers the first use for up to 63,000 litres, follow-up doses need more. Switch off UV clarifier, skimmer and ozone for about 72 hours after each dose.
