The collection consists of various floor lamps, table lamps, pendant lights, wall lights and now also portable table lamps, all characterised by a unique lampshade inspired by Japanese paper lamps. Just like the rest of the range, this portable table lamp also manages to spread a warm, ambient and atmospheric light that you can now take with you to different places inside and outside your home. On a full charge, the lamp has a runtime of 10 hours, depending on how you adjust the brightness. After that, you can charge the lamp via the hidden USB port located at the bottom of the base. To protect battery life, make sure you switch off the lamp when charging it and don't keep it connected to a USB cable when in use. It owes its name Hashira to its shape (Japanese Hashira: column). The cylindrical shade is made of linen, whose characteristic are the unique irregularities in the fabric, which are also responsible for the special light of Hashira. To emphasise the natural look, the lampshade was mounted on a base made of sandblasted wood. The brightness can be adjusted by the three-step dimmer (100 %, 50 %, 25 %).The Hashira lamp series was designed by Norm Architects, a design studio working in the fields of residential architecture, graphics, art direction and commercial interiors, founded in Copenhagen in 2008.
